Job summary

FotoFinder Systems GmbH is seeking an experienced AI Solution Lead to turn AI innovation into scalable, production-ready products. You will own the technical realization of AI solutions across the ecosystem from prototype to commercial product, collaborating with AI Engineers, Software Developers and Product Managers to deliver robust capabilities for Windows, cloud and mobile solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering AI-enabled software solutions.
• Strong software engineering background in Python, C#, C++ or similar.
• Experience integrating AI services into Windows, cloud and/or mobile apps.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices and distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and AWS cloud services.
• Understanding of computer vision, AI inference and MLOps concepts.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.

As we expand our AI portfolio across computer vision, multimodal AI, cloud services and intelligent clinical workflows, we are looking for an experienced AI Solution Lead to turn AI innovation into scalable, production-ready products.
In this role you will own the technical realization of AI solutions across our ecosystem - from prototype to commercial product. You will work closely with AI Engineers, Software Developers, Product Managers, Cloud Engineers and external technology partners to deliver robust AI capabilities for Windows applications, cloud platforms and mobile solutions.

Your responsibilities

AI Solution Architecture & Productization

• Own the technical architecture and implementation of AI-powered product features.
• Transform research prototypes into scalable, secure and maintainable production solutions.
• Define reusable solution patterns for desktop, cloud, mobile and partner integrations.
• Ensure performance, reliability and regulatory readiness of AI solutions.

AI Platform & Integration

• Design APIs and integration concepts between AI services, backend systems and customer-facing applications.
• Integrate AI models into Windows desktop software, AWS cloud services and future mobile applications.
• Collaborate on AI platform services including inference, model management and deployment.

AI Operations & Lifecycle

• Drive deployment, monitoring, model versioning, inference optimization and operational excellence.
• Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD, containerization and cloud-native deployments.
• Establish technical standards and best practices for AI solution delivery.

Computer Vision & Imaging

• Integrate computer vision workflows into medical imaging products.
• Optimize image acquisition, preprocessing, AI inference and downstream clinical workflows.
• Act as the technical lead across AI, Software Engineering, QA, Product Management and Cloud teams.
• Drive technical decisions, resolve integration challenges and manage technical risks.
• Support technology evaluations and collaboration with external AI partners.

Your Profile

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering AI-enabled software solutions.
• Strong software engineering background in Python, C#, C++ or similar.
• Experience integrating AI services into Windows, cloud and/or mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices and distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and AWS cloud services.
• Understanding of computer vision, AI inference and MLOps concepts.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to bridge AI research and commercial product development.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ONNX Runtime, NVIDIA Triton, TensorRT or OpenVINO.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar AI frameworks.
• Medical imaging, healthcare or regulated software experience.
• Experience with GenAI, RAG or AI platform technologies.
• Experience collaborating with external technology partners and customers.

Within your first 6–12 months, you will:

• Define the AI solution architecture for key FotoFinder products.
• Deliver production-ready AI capabilities across Windows, cloud and mobile platforms.
• Establish reusable integration patterns and deployment standards.
• Improve performance, scalability and reliability of AI services.
• Strengthen collaboration across AI, Product and Engineering teams.
• Accelerate delivery of AI-powered product innovations.
• Lay the foundation for future multimodal AI and intelligent clinical workflows.
