Job summary
Relativity Space in Long Beach is hiring for an AI software engineer to build AI-powered systems used by engineers and operators across the company. You will work across the full software development life cycle: concept, design, implementation, and iteration, delivering reliable production-grade applications built on foundation models.
You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test teams, apply agile practices, and ensure systems are scalable, observable, and evaluated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- 3–5 years of experience building, shipping, and iterating on applications and services.
- Experience with AI features using large language models, such as agents, retrieval-augmented generation, tool use, or evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered applications and agents on foundation models and deploy to production.
- Collaborate with users and stakeholder teams to define requirements and iterate.
- Follow agile development practices and ship quality software that is continuously integrated and deployed.
- Solve complex problems with simple solutions and work across the full software development life cycle.
