Job summary

F5's Digital organization seeks an entry-level Software Development Engineer (AI) to contribute to scalable AI-powered solutions from Seattle, WA. You will work with mentors on meaningful projects powering our digital ecosystem.

As part of an exclusive return program after completing F5's Summer 2026 Internship, you will explore ML tooling such as PyTorch/TensorFlow, LangChain, and modern data pipelines while growing technical skills and collaborating with engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated programming experience in Python (preferred) or Java/C++/Go, including APIs/services, tests, and Git usage.
Hands-on exposure to ML/DL concepts with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; training/inference workflows.

Responsibilities

Contribute to real-world projects across the full development cycle with mentorship.
Design, implement, and test code in a collaborative environment with feedback from senior engineers.
Analyze requirements, test features, and integrate components into applications.
Create technical design and feature documentation; follow best practices in technical writing.
Participate in design and code reviews to improve quality and learn.
Collaborate to develop data-driven AI solutions using ML technologies.
Ask questions, seek guidance, and leverage mentorship to accelerate learning.
