Job summary

Chamberlain Group is seeking a Software Engineer I to build AI-powered features and tools, working with modern AI platforms and internal systems. This role is ideal for a recent graduate eager to grow in Generative AI and intelligent systems.

You will collaborate with engineers on real-world AI applications, contribute to prototypes, and help production systems while learning best practices in software engineering and AI development.

Qualifications

• Requires BS or MS in CS/EE or related field, or graduating soon.
• Experience with Generative AI, chatbots, AI-assisted coding workflows, and automation tools.
• Proficiency in Python (and/or JavaScript/TypeScript) and REST APIs; Git and modern workflows.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of AI-powered applications and internal tools.
• Build and test features using LLMs, APIs, and modern frameworks.
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Assist in prototyping and proofs-of-concept for new AI features.
• Support integration of AI services into mobile, web, and backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Write clean, well-documented code and apply best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers.
