Job summary

Allstate is seeking a passionate Backend Developer with hands-on Generative AI experience to join our engineering team. You will design scalable backend services, implement AI-enabled features, and work across enterprise applications.

Applicants should have 3+ years in backend development (Java Spring Boot or Python), REST APIs, microservices, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Azure. Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience using Java Spring Boot or Python.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience working with Generative AI APIs and/or open-source models.
• Experience with LangChain, LLM orchestration, or RAG pipelines.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, embedding models, or vector databases.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities
