Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Manufacturing Technician III to build and integrate AI server rack systems in a high-volume environment at our Richardson, TX site. You will assemble from framework through full integration, including air‑cooled and liquid‑cooling racks for large-scale data centers.

Responsibilities include wiring, cabling, and testing, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring quality workmanship. Requires 5+ years in related roles and strong mechanical/troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in server hardware assembly or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing and data center hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build AI server racks from bare frame to fully assembled and cabled systems.
• Install rails, servers, GPU trays, network switches, and power distribution units.
• Route and connect power and data cables per cabling maps with proper labeling.
• Install liquid-cooling components and support leak testing.
• Inspect fiber optic connections and verify torque and alignment.
• Interpret drawings and BOMs to complete complex assemblies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Test teams.
• Maintain production documentation and participate in 5S and safety initiatives.
