Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AI Security Senior Consultant to lead strategy and transformation work focused on AI cybersecurity governance, risk management, and policy development. You will work with data, infrastructure, identity and application security teams to translate strategy into implementable requirements.

The role emphasizes client advisory, drafting governance artifacts, and leading workstreams while guiding junior consultants and contributing to pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Risk Management.
• 4+ years in cybersecurity, risk, or technology consulting including AI/ML.
• Experience with AI/ML concepts including model development and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Experience with AI risk/security frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS).
• Ability to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and current-state assessments of AI cybersecurity controls and risk management.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to surface AI risk concerns and gather requirements.
• Develop AI risk registers, control frameworks, and maturity assessments aligned with standards.
• Translate strategic recommendations into roadmaps and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Draft governance artifacts and AI security awareness materials.
• Manage workstream tasks, milestones, and client interactions.
