Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program. This executive leads governance, risk, and secure adoption of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and ML platforms across the company.

The role directs a team of AI security architects and engineers, partnering with Legal, Privacy, and business leaders to ensure secure, responsible AI implementations and ongoing alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical field; extensive cybersecurity leadership experience.
• 3+ years in AI/ML security design and implementation.
• 2+ years in cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience applying NIST/ISO security frameworks to AI

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI Security strategy, operating model, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements for AI technologies.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance, third-party assessments, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring, budgeting, and operational execution.
• Partner with executives to securely enable enterprise AI adoption and oversee security reviews.
