Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program.

You will report to the Chief Information Security Officer and lead strategy, governance, risk management, and secure adoption across AI technologies including Generative AI and LLMs. As the executive leader, you will recruit and mentor a high-performing team of AI security architects and engineers, partnering with Legal, Privacy, and Business Leaders to ensure secure,

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a computer science, information security, engineering, data science or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity leadership experience required.
• 3+ years of designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML systems required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature enterprise AI security strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, reference architectures, and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management, model governance, third-party assessments, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and oversee the AI Security organization, budgeting, hiring, and operational execution.
• Collaborate with executives and business leaders to securely enable enterprise AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments for initiatives.
• Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments; adjust strategy accordingly.
