Job summary

TRIAEM is seeking a Technical SETA SME – AI Security in Bethesda, MD, to guide AI security research and development across the Intelligence Community. You will address adversarial ML, data integrity, and secure AI architectures while aligning with national security objectives.

Ideal candidates bring eight+ years in STEM, deep AI/ML security knowledge, and experience with governance frameworks, risk management, and mission assurance in federal environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, math, CS, cybersecurity or related field.
• Eight+ years in STEM.
• Progressive cybersecurity experience with AI/ML security.
• Expert knowledge of AI/ML security principles and threat vectors.
• Understanding of secure data architectures for large-scale analytics.
• Familiarity with AI governance, data quality, and mission assurance.
• Familiarity with federal AI governance frameworks (AI RMF, EO 13960/14110).
• Experience with AI red teaming, adversarial testing, or AI penetration testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across innovative AI security initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify vulnerabilities in AI systems.
• Support transition of research into mission-relevant capabilities.
• Develop program plans, WBS, and milestone schedules.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-expert audiences.
