Job summary

TRIAEM LLC in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Technical SETA SME - AI Security to shape the security of next-gen AI for national security. You will provide technical guidance across AI safety initiatives, assess AI/ML threats, and help transition research into mission-ready capabilities.

The role requires senior cybersecurity and AI/ML expertise, including adversarial robustness, secure AI architectures, and governance frameworks such as AI RMF and related directives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, cybersecurity, or a relevant engineering field; Master’s may substitute two years of experience.
• Eight or more years of work experience in STEM.
• Progressive experience in cybersecurity with significant AI/ML security experience in federal or large enterprise.
• Expert-level knowledge of AI/ML security, adversarial ML concepts, and AI-specific threat vectors (model poisoning, adversarial attacks, evasion, model inversion, data integrity).
• Understanding of secure data architectures and pipelines for large-scale analytics and intelligence production.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (AI RMF) and related memoranda/policies.
• Experience with AI red teaming, adversarial robustness testing, or AI penetration testing.
• Experience creating program plans, WBS, and milestone schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance across AI security initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, identify vulnerabilities and threats in AI/ML systems.
• Support transition of research into mission-relevant capabilities.
• Collaborate across AI security, national security, and advanced R&D teams.
• Develop program plans, milestones, and schedules.
