Job summary

Carnival Cruise Lines is seeking an AI Security Engineer to help secure GenAI workloads, validate models, and enforce data protection across in‑scope AI systems. The role emphasizes hands‑on engineering, tooling, and automation within CI/CD pipelines.

The candidate will collaborate with Cloud Security and engineering teams to reduce risk to Carnival Corp and customer data, while implementing robust security controls and guardrails for inference workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• Strong programming/scripting ability (Python).
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts, secure MCP configuration, Application/API security, and data protection.
• Hands-on experience securing AI workloads and IAM fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate AI security posture management across model and inference infrastructure.
• Design, build, and run model validation and evaluation harnesses for robustness and data leakage.
• Build and maintain inference-layer guardrails and controls (input/output filtering, rate and access controls) for GenAI and agentic applications.
• Partner with Cloud Security to establish guardrails in AWS and Azure for AI workloads.
• Develop scripts and tooling to integrate AI security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document secure architecture patterns and remediation guidance for engineering teams.
