Job summary

EVERSANA is seeking an AI Security Engineer I to secure AI-enabled applications, models, and data across the organization. You will assist with risk assessments, implement security controls, and monitor AI threats while partnering with IT, data science, and compliance teams to enable secure innovation.

The role emphasizes responsible AI, threat modeling, model protection, and cloud security in a fast-paced life sciences environment. Travel is minimal and the team values inclusive collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 1–3 years of cybersecurity, cloud security, application security, AI/ML/ MLOps related work.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, Generative AI, and security risks.
• Familiarity with AI security topics (prompt injection, data poisoning, model abuse).
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and cloud security principles.
• Knowledge of security technologies (EDR, SIEM, IAM, vulnerability management).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining AI security controls.
• Support security assessments of AI-enabled apps, models, and services.
• Participate in threat modeling for AI systems and suggest mitigations.
• Monitor AI security risks and industry trends to advise on risk reduction.
• Help test and validate AI security controls including data and model protection.
• Collaborate with security, data science, engineering, and compliance teams on standards and governance.
• Contribute to AI governance initiatives like model inventory and policy compliance.
• Evaluate security tech for AI systems, data pipelines, and cloud environments.
• Assist in incident response related to AI and emerging tech.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity testing for critical AI systems.
• Document findings and remediation actions per security processes.
• Demonstrate diversity and inclusive behavior in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
