Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program.

This executive will drive governance, architecture strategy, risk management, and compliant adoption of AI technologies while partnering with Legal, Privacy, and business leaders to align security with strategic goals. The role leads a team of AI security architects and engineers, reporting to the CISO, and will guide multi-year roadmaps and secure development requirements across

Qualifications

• Experience leading AI security programs and architecture strategy.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, model governance, and adversarial AI/ML.
• Proven ability to influence executives and integrate cybersecurity with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI Security strategy and roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure requirements for AI tech.
• Lead risk management including model governance, third-party assessments, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization, including hiring and budgeting.
• Partner with legal, privacy, procurement, and business leaders to enable secure AI adoption.
• Oversee security reviews and governance for AI initiatives.
• Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments to update strategy.
