WRITER is seeking a staff detection and response engineer to protect its AI infrastructure. You’ll build detection systems for the AI platform, training data, and model deployments while crafting automated response capabilities at scale.

This role combines hands-on security engineering with strategic thinking to stay ahead of novel threats and translate threat intelligence into real-time detections. You’ll work with AI Security, Cloud Infrastructure, and researchers to defend high-value AI

Formación

• 3–5 years in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response in production environments with AI/ML infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Experience with security tooling, SIEMs, and forensics in complex environments.
• Proficient in Python and building automated security tooling and detections.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence, detections, and incident response workflows.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and collaborate across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design AI-specific threat detections across distributed infrastructure (prompt injection, data poisoning, model extraction).
• Build automated response playbooks and orchestration to contain threats with minimal human input.
• Lead security incident response across Cloud, AppSec, Enterprise, and AI Security teams.
• Hunt for sophisticated threats across GPU clusters and distributed training environments.
• Develop detection-as-code with version control, telemetry, and dashboards for security metrics.
• Collaborate with AI research, Cloud Infrastructure, and Software Security Engineering to implement defense-in-depth.
• Maintain 24/7 on-call rotation for critical AI security incidents.
