Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of reporting experience in journalism, or equivalent.
• Strong reporting skills with curiosity and rigor.

Responsibilities

• Produce a steady drumbeat of stories that break news and cover major events on your beat.
• Pitch a mix of shorter and feature stories on your beat for the magazine.
• Write clearly, engagingly, and with storytelling techniques for digital media.
• Be an original thinker on your topics and propose new coverage approaches.
• Collaborate with colleagues in other departments and oversee content within your beat.
• Assist in planning and assigning themed print issues when relevant.
• Represent MIT Technology Review at conferences and to audiences.
