Job summary

Intone Inc. seeks an AI Architect to design and implement an AI-driven SDLC using AI agents, specification-driven development, and reverse/forward engineering.

This contract role is based in Troy, Michigan, with a duration of 6+ months and responsibilities spanning requirements through deployment. Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs and RAG.
• Knowledge of AI agents and agentic AI concepts.
• Experience enabling SDLC automation using AI tools.
• Ability to perform reverse and forward engineering.
• Experience with Specification-Driven Development (SDD).
• Knowledge of enterprise application architecture.
• Experience with .NET or Java ecosystems.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React).
• API design and SQL proficiency.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with Azure/Cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing and QA workflows.
• Experience with prompt and context engineering and LLM evaluation.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and security.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement an end-to-end AI SDLC framework.
• Build AI-driven reverse engineering processes for existing apps and data.
• Establish Specification-Driven Development directing architecture, code, tests, docs.
• Design AI agent workflows for architecture, coding, data modeling, APIs, UI, tests, reviews.
• Implement AI-assisted forward engineering from requirements to production components.
• Establish automated specification-to-code/test and traceability mechanisms.
• Define governance, security and human-in-the-loop controls for AI artifacts.
• Evaluate integration of Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, or similar tools.
