Job summary

Sonata Software is seeking an AI Architect for a remote-friendly role based in the United States. The position focuses on defining AI SDLC, AI-driven reverse engineering, and governance for AI-generated artifacts.

You will work with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, and OpenAI, designing agentic workflows across architecture, coding, data models, APIs, UI, and testing to deliver production-ready components while ensuring security and quality gates.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI-driven SDLC automation and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and security.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement an end-to-end AI SDLC framework from requirements through deployment.
• Build AI-driven reverse engineering processes to analyze applications and convert into specs.
• Establish Specification-Driven Development driving artifacts.
• Design AI agent workflows for architecture, coding, data models, APIs, UI, testing, review, validation.
• Implement AI-assisted forward engineering to production components.
• Establish automated spec-to-code and traceability mechanisms.
• Define governance, security, quality gates, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Evaluate and integrate Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI.

Job Title- AI Architect

Roles and Responsibilities-

• Define and implement an end-to-end AI SDLC framework from requirements through development, testing, validation, and deployment.
• Build AI-driven reverse engineering processes to analyze existing applications, code, database, APIs, UI, and business rules and convert them into structured specifications.
• Establish Specification-Driven Development (SDD) where approved requirements/specifications drive architecture, code, test cases, and documentation.
• Design AI agent workflows for architecture, coding, SQL/data model, API, UI, testing, code review, and validation.
• Implement AI-assisted forward engineering from BRD/FRD/specifications to production-ready application components.
• Establish automated specification-to-code, specification-to-test, and traceability/validation mechanisms.
• Define governance, security, quality gates, and human-in-the-loop controls for AI-generated artifacts.
• Evaluate and integrate tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, or similar agentic development platforms.
