Job summary

Molecule is building the foundation of DeSci by connecting biotech and web3 to fund and govern IP-driven biotech projects. You will be an AI Scientist on-site with the founding team, designing and shipping autonomous agent fleets that advance IP in real disease areas, from bench to IP.

In four weeks you own the loop: design targets, deploy fleets, recruit sub-agents, and iterate to produce tangible scientific outputs. After residency, you scale across more diseases.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial to the core. You ship. You don't wait for permission.
• Technically deep across LLMs, agent frameworks, and wet-science domain such as chemistry or biology.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Credential-agnostic; degree from a top-tier institution or demonstrable equivalent.
• Willing to live on-site for 4 weeks and operate at founder pace.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy fleets of scientific agents spanning literature mining, target identification, molecular design, assay design, and data analysis.
• Pilot each fleet against a disease area to deliver a tangible output such as a validated target or IP-NFT.
• Run multiple fleets in parallel across disease areas and report results directly to the CEO.
• Own the full stack: agent design, orchestration, evaluation, and scientific judgment on outputs.
• Define and set the standard for how autonomous science gets done at Molecule.
