Overview
We are seeking an AI Scientist to drive the development of advanced AI and machine learning capabilities that solve complex enterprise problems. The AI Scientist will work across machine learning, generative AI, deep learning, model development, experimentation, evaluation, and applied research.
You will collaborate closely with AI engineers, product teams, domain experts, and client-facing teams to translate emerging AI techniques into practical, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong theoretical foundations in AI/ML with the ability to experiment, prototype, evaluate, and translate research into real-world applications.
Your Role And Responsabilities
- Research, develop, and evaluate AI/ML models and algorithms for complex business and industry problems.
- Develop novel approaches across areas such as Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, optimization, or predictive analytics.
- Design and conduct experiments to evaluate model performance, accuracy, robustness, scalability, and business impact.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate new AI approaches and technologies.
- Work with large and complex datasets to develop features, training pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and AI solutions.
- Explore emerging AI research, models, frameworks, and techniques and assess their applicability to enterprise use cases.
- Design and evaluate multi-agent architectures (planner/executor/validator patterns) and the guardrails, evals, and observability needed to run them reliably in production.
- Develop and evaluate LLM-based solutions including RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, agents, model evaluation, and inference optimization, where applicable.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to transition successful research and prototypes into production-ready systems.
- Develop methodologies for model evaluation, benchmarking, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with domain experts to understand industry-specific problems and develop AI solutions tailored to those environments.
- Communicate research findings, technical approaches, and AI capabilities to engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to technical thought leadership through research publications, patents, technical papers, presentations, or internal knowledge sharing where appropriate.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, statistics, optimization, and AI algorithms.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience developing, training, evaluating, or deploying machine learning/AI models.
- Strong understanding of model evaluation, experimentation, data preparation, and statistical methodologies.
- Ability to translate research concepts into working prototypes and practical AI solutions.
- Experience building or evaluating agentic AI systems, including agent orchestration frameworks, eval harnesses, and safety/guardrail design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, AI agents, foundation models, fine-tuning, or reinforcement learning.
- Experience with NLP, computer vision, recommender systems, forecasting, optimization, or other specialized AI domains.
- Experience with distributed training, model serving, MLOps, or large-scale ML systems.
- Experience working with cloud AI/ML platforms and GPU infrastructure.
- Publications in peer-reviewed AI/ML conferences or journals such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, ACL, CVPR, or similar.
- Experience contributing to open-source AI/ML projects or significant research initiatives.
- Experience applying AI to enterprise problems within Healthcare/Life Sciences, Financial Services, or other industry domains.
AI Portfolio / Proof of Craft
- A public portfolio demonstrating hands-on AI/ML craft, such as models or datasets published on Hugging Face Hub, competition results and notebooks on Kaggle, research code on GitHub, or papers/preprints on arXiv or Google Scholar.
- Please share links to your portfolio (GitHub, Hugging Face, Kaggle, arXiv/Google Scholar, personal site or blog) with your application. We weigh demonstrated, hands-on work as heavily as formal credentials.
