Job summary

CloudZero is building a new AI ROI Services practice. The AI ROI Consultant owns the business case and methodology for each engagement, turning spend data into a CFO-ready ROI story and a defensible payback calculation.

This role builds the methodology against real customers, pressure-tests it, and productizes repeatable patterns. You'll work with data analysts, operations, and product teams to ensure rigor and scalability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years at top-tier strategy or management consulting or equivalent in-house strategy experience.
• Owned the business case and defended numbers to executives.
• Experience building ROI models for B2B SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the business case and ROI methodology for each engagement from start to finish.
• Turn activity-to-return data into a defensible dollarized calculation (ratio and payback).
• Separate operational and strategic returns and apply rigorous attribution.
• Pre-register success metrics and identify confounders in advance.
• Collaborate with data analysts, operations, and product teams on data plumbing.
• Present calculations in CFO-ready formats with clear narratives.
