AI2CYBER is seeking an AI/RL Software Engineer based in Greece with strong Python and ML background to design and implement reinforcement learning systems in cybersecurity contexts.

You will integrate LLMs, coordinate modular AI components via MCP, and prototype solutions while collaborating with Data Science, Engineering and Product teams. Remote work options and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in CS/EE/Math/Stats or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Python and ML library experience.
• RL experience, especially with OpenAI Gym.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with container-based environments.
• Excellent English writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop novel reinforcement learning algorithms for real-world problems.
• Integrate LLMs to enhance agent reasoning and threat intel.
• Implement MCP to enable coordinated behavior across modular AI components.
• Prototype methods and transition successful prototypes to deployed solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering and Product to deploy RL models.
• Evaluate model performance with experimental design and statistics.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and participate in reviews.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
