Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, rate how closely outputs follow prompts, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all from home with flexible hours.

Responsibilities include comparing images and videos, inspecting for artefacts or misalignments, and delivering concise, evidence-based explanations. Remote work accommodates study schedules and travel.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication and comfortable with natural conversation.
• Strong attention to detail and the patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations conversationally.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge which better follows the prompt.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors, or mismatched audio.
• Rate outputs across dimensions and write a written explanation in English citing what was observed.
