Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, score exchanges, compare AI-generated images and videos, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Ideal candidates have strong written English, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to clearly justify judgments.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay/zoom in during reviews.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making clear decisions when alternatives have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw.
• Common tasks include image and video evaluations, video caption labeling, and audio/voice evaluations with concise reasoning.
