Job summary

Fionics in New York seeks AI research scientists to join its core alpha-research process, working upstream of a large portion of the firm’s activities and shaping how the team leverages data to generate signals. You’ll combine deep AI research with finance on a highly resourced, engineering‑heavy team, where your work is tested on real data and optimized for production.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in machine learning across pre-training and post-training.
• Reinforcement learning experience is valued.
• Hands-on, engineering-focused with coding and ML modelling tested.
• Finance interest or experience is important.
• Clear, articulate communication of research.

Responsibilities
