Cisco Systems, Inc. – Cisco Foundation AI, based in San Francisco, is seeking a qualified Project Manager to drive end-to-end execution of frontier AI research and engineering initiatives.

This role operates in a collaborative hybrid model (onsite Monday, Wednesday, Friday) partnering with researchers, engineers, and product teams to deliver enterprise-grade capabilities. You will lead scheduling, dependency mapping, milestone delivery, and risk mitigation across matrixed teams, and build

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of technical project management experience.
• Experience managing technical projects in software engineering, AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, or advanced research organizations.
• End-to-end project planning, dependency management, milestone tracking, and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience using AI-assisted developer tools to automate project workflows.

Responsabilités

• Lead project scheduling, dependency mapping, milestone delivery, and risk mitigation across AI research and engineering tracks.
• Partner with researchers, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Product teams to define scope, technical requirements, and release milestones.
• Oversee launch readiness for AI models, evaluation benchmarks, research papers, and open-source contributions.
• Build dashboards and status reports providing executive transparency into project health, resource allocation, and timeline dependencies.
• Integrate AI productivity tools to automate documentation, reporting, and velocity.
