Job summary

Engramme in San Francisco is seeking a Recruitment Associate to identify, recruit, and onboard participants for memory-focused AI research studies. You will engage directly with people, explain opportunities, and guide them through onboarding, aiming to build a diverse participant base.

The role is hands-on and requires experimenting with outreach channels, with part-time (≈20 hours/week) or full-time arrangements, and clear outcomes guiding performance.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Outgoing, proactive, and comfortable approaching and speaking with new people.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to experiment with different outreach approaches.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through with prospective participants.
• Comfortable working independently and being measured against clear outcomes.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and willing to conduct in-person outreach.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit participants for AI research studies across demographics and communities.
• Conduct outreach through in-person conversations, community organizations, events, digital channels, and other methods.
• Explain Engramme's research program, participation requirements, and compensation opportunities.
• Help interested participants understand eligibility requirements and onboarding.
• Experiment with new participant acquisition channels and improve outreach approaches.
• Track recruitment activity, participant activation, and recruitment effectiveness.
• Develop repeatable processes that can scale with the team.
