Pangram Labs Inc. is seeking AI Research Interns for Spring or Summer 2027 in New York. Interns work with mentors to select a research topic and contribute to frontier AI detection research, with the goal of publishing a paper at a major conference.

Projects include exploring adversarial robustness, interpretability, mixed human/AI authorship, and multimodal detection, with opportunities for high-impact results and potential full-time offers for top performers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. in CS/AI; exceptional undergraduates may apply.
• Prior research with a published paper in a top AI venue.
• Fluency in deep learning fundamentals and training neural networks.
• Excellent Python programming and PyTorch experience.
• Experience with AI agents for research (Claude/Codex).

Responsabilités

• Contribute to frontier AI detection research and publish papers.
• Choose a research topic with a mentor and pursue it during the internship.
• Experiment with detectors and architectures to improve detection performance.
