Job summary

MaziCTools is seeking a Research Engineering Intern in the United States for a part-time role focused on AI research and development.

You will collaborate with software and research engineers to advance AI-powered features, define problems, design experiments, and evaluate solutions against metrics. The role emphasizes knowledge discovery, prototyping, and potential IP generation through publications.

Qualifications

Active enrollment in a master's or PhD program in Computer Science or related field.
Strong foundation in CS with emphasis on machine learning and DL theory.
Experience or interest in information extraction, NLP, or computer vision.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with software and research engineers to develop AI-powered features.
Identify, scope, and formulate ill-defined problems.
Design metrics and experiments to analyze and measure results.
Review state-of-the-art approaches and choose solutions.
Prototype and evaluate solutions based on goals, approaches and metrics.
Generate IP through patent applications and/or publications.
