Job summary

SkillStorm Commercial Services LLC seeks working software developers ready to move into AI through six weeks of paid training and placement with federal and Fortune 100 clients. You don’t need AI experience to apply; you bring strong software fundamentals and a desire to become an AI engineer.

After the training, you’ll deploy to client environments, build AI-enabled capabilities, and contribute from day one.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/Node.js.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret clearance (for some roles).
• Willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy agentic AI applications in the client cloud.
• Own delivery end-to-end from problem framing to deployment.
• Work embedded with client engineers and stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into scoped specifications and defensible architecture.
• Apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery.
• Set patterns and coding standards for other engineers.
• Brief client stakeholders and produce lasting documentation.
