Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Network Architect (DCNA) to join an AI cloud and infrastructure organization focused on building next-generation data center environments. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance network infrastructures optimized for AI and HPC workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in network design, engineering, or architecture roles.
• Experience supporting high-performance computing (HPC), AI, or large-scale data center environments.
• Strong understanding of advanced networking protocols and technologies.
• Experience supporting multi-platform environments, including on-premises data centers, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, and virtualization.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure principles, including power, cooling, and cabling management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and document scalable, high-performance network architectures supporting AI and HPC workloads.
• Develop strategic network topology roadmaps incorporating emerging technologies.
• Ensure operability across on-premises data centers, cloud platforms, and virtualization.
• Collaborate with facilities to optimize space, power, cooling, and cabling.
• Configure and support advanced networking infrastructure, including switches and routers.
• Integrate networking solutions across cloud environments and virtualization platforms.
• Design network solutions meeting security and compliance requirements.
• Maintain documentation and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
