Job summary

NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialists Solutions Architecture team seeks a seasoned network architect to lead conception, design, and deployment of data center networks under the PDI framework. You will influence solutions for web2.0, cloud, HPC AI, and enterprise datacenter domains, and advise marketing and engineering on product strategy.

You will travel to customer data centers (up to 20%), design and test Ethernet networks, implement automation scripts, and craft deployment documents while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, and data center architecture.
• 3+ years designing and building network fabrics for scalable data center compute clusters (CLOS, spine-leaf).
• Strong BGP, VXLAN, EVPN expertise for design and troubleshooting (2+ years).
• Advanced troubleshooting with packet analyzers and tools (2+ years).
• Strong Linux administration and hardware knowledge (2+ years).
• 1+ year direct customer-facing experience in requirements gathering and deployment.
• 1+ year of network automation using Ansible, Salt, Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide Ethernet and routing expertise during project delivery to design, architect, configure, and test networking solutions.
• Collaborate in multi-functional teams to support server infra builds, HPC workloads, and GPU-accelerated AI apps.
• Develop and evaluate DevOps automation scripts for network operations and architectures.
• Implement network configuration and validation tasks in data centers.
• Create procedures and deployment documents for projects.
• Validate network architectures and configs in lab environments.
• Create network automation scripts tailored to customer needs using AI tools.
• Engage with customers to gather required information for optimal designs.
• Use software to monitor and validate network performance.
• Produce project handover documentation for customers.
• Travel on-site to customer data centers for initial configuration (up to 20%).
