Nimble Gravity, LLC is seeking an Analytics Engineer & AI Specialist to design data models, pipelines, and semantic layers powering AI agents for enterprise clients. You will own the data stack from ingestion through the semantic layer, ensuring data is structured, trusted, and ready for AI usage.

You will work with SQL, Python, dbt, Snowflake Cortex, and collaborate with clients and engineers to deliver reliable, scalable data products. Emphasis on governance, QA, and reusable templates.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related technical role.
• Daily use of an AI coding assistant as a primary development tool.
• Proficient in SQL; able to write window functions and complex joins without referencing documentation.
• Experience with dbt and data modeling for large-scale datasets.
• Shipped production data models or pipelines used by non-technical business users.
• Proficient with Git, PRs, and code reviews.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with Cortex / Snowflake Cortex or similar semantic tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Data Modeling and Architecture: architect flexible, performant data models that drive truth across business domains; build and maintain data infrastructure with SQL, Python, dbt, and Snowflake; perform data QA and governance.
• Semantic Layer and Agent Readiness: develop semantic data models for natural language queries; define metrics and relationships for AI agents; identify and close data gaps that could cause errors.
• Documentation: create playbooks and semantic templates; run workshops; author semantic view configurations and skill files in YAML + Markdown.
