Job summary

Dassault Systèmes’ SIMULIA R&D Operations is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to help improve code coverage for the SIMULIA code base. You will write unit and system-level tests, work with AI tools, and participate in team meetings.

This internship emphasizes developing tools, dashboards, and best-practice documentation to accelerate SIMULIA R&D. Hybrid work arrangement, experience with Python and AI technologies, and strong writing and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program for the duration of the internship.
• Coding experience in Python or another programming language.
• Great attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI technology.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in simulation software testing/development.

Responsibilities

• Write Unit Tests, System level tests to cover SIMULIA code base
• Work with AI tools to optimize effort and define best practices
• Participate in team/ status meetings
• Develop tools and utilities to improve efficiency
• Develop reports on dashboards to visualize information
• Document best practices based on learnings for SIMULIA R&D to adopt later.
