Moody's in New York seeks a Model Validation Summer Intern to assist independent evaluation of AI-enabled tools, agents and quantitative models used in credit rating activities. You will contribute to GenAI governance and model risk management under experienced validators.

The 10-week summer internship runs June–August, with mentorship, project work, and opportunities to deliver real validation outputs that impact Moody's risk framework and governance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a quantitative or technical degree (CS/AI/ML/math/engineering).
• Interest in AI risk management and model validation.
• Familiarity with Python and basic data analysis.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsabilités

• Support evaluation of AI-enabled tools, agents and quantitative models with the team.
• Assist with AI model risk management activities and risk identification.
• Contribute to validation analyses, tests, benchmarking and documentation.
• Draft validation deliverables under guidance of the validation lead.
• Help develop internal tools to streamline validation workflows.
