Qualifications

• 8+ years in public affairs, strategic communications, political campaigns, government relations, or policy communications.
• Shaping how sophisticated audiences understand complex technology or policy issues to drive measurable campaign outcomes.
• Experience with journalists, creators, senior executives, government officials and other high-profile stakeholders; earned trust in contested environments.
• Ability to coordinate across Communications, Policy, Legal, Marketing to deliver integrated campaign outcomes.
• Capable of managing multiple high-stakes workstreams at campaign speed with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including drafting op-eds, executive remarks, and briefing materials.

Responsibilities

• Own proactive communications and narrative strategy within Meta's AI public affairs campaign.
• Develop audience-specific messages, proofs, executive remarks, and policy explainers.
• Set engagement architecture and determine leadership, success metrics, and momentum for the campaign.
• Build and execute an earned-media and third-party validation strategy across journalists, writers, podcasts, newsletters, and creators.
• Prepare senior leaders for high-stakes engagements with crisp narrative framing and actionable takeaways.
• Identify emerging moments in AI to deploy timely communications and rapid response.
• Refine approaches based on stakeholder insights, earned media dynamics, and policy developments.
• Create repeatable message toolkits for scale across markets.
