Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in public affairs, strategic communications, political campaigns, government relations, or policy communications.
• Track record of shaping how sophisticated audiences understand complex technology or policy issues, and translating narrative work into measurable campaign outcomes.
• Experience coordinating with journalists, creators, senior executives, government officials, and other high‑profile stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating across multiple internal functions to deliver integrated campaign outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple high‑stakes workstreams at campaign speed with attention to detail.
• Experience producing high‑quality written and verbal communications, including op‑eds, executive remarks, and briefing materials.

Responsibilities

• Own proactive communications and narrative strategy within Meta's AI public affairs campaign—define priority audiences and moments, develop message architecture, and drive execution across priority markets.
• Develop messages and proof points grounded in product and research reality, and translate them into audience-specific products (proactive stories, pitches, briefs, op‑eds, executive remarks, FAQs).
• Set and maintain the campaign's engagement architecture—determine where and how Meta should show up, who leads, and what success looks like.
• Build and run a proactive earned-media and third-party validation strategy across journalists, opinion writers, podcasts, newsletters, and creators.
• Prepare senior leaders for high-stakes engagements with crisp narrative framing, anticipated questions, and calls to action.
• Identify emerging moments in the AI landscape to deploy timely communications and partner on rapid response and issue management.
