Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development North America (MBRDNA) is seeking an AI Program Manager Intern to bridge AI development and project execution, driving AI literacy and optimizing engineering workflows to boost team productivity.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to integrate LLMs and developer tools, shaping how teams code, test, and document while aligning with product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a technical field (CS/Engineering/Data Science/MIS).
• Experience in software development or technical project coordination.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of modern LLMs (Claude, GPT, Gemini) and enterprise use cases.
• Hands-on familiarity with developer tooling (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• AI Awareness & Enablement: Research and conduct internal sessions on LLM capabilities and developer tools.
• Workflow Optimization: Evaluate workflows and implement AI-driven automation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise between PMs and Developers to align requirements and roadmaps.
• Tool Integration & Best Practices: Implement advanced coding assistants and open-source protocols for code generation and testing.
• Project Tracking: Assist in managing sprint cycles and documentation.
