Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (Charleston) is seeking a Strategic Projects Intern to assist with factory planning and engineering within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will help with brownfield transformations, scheduling, data analysis, and reporting using Excel and Power BI tools.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled reporting, cost tracking, and readiness for new project introductions, offering hands-on experience in a multi-million dollar program and exposure to leadership for impactful

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or current student in Construction Management, Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Project Management, Data Analytics, CS or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with Power BI; interest in AI, automation, data analytics, and digital transformation within manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling, and execution of brownfield construction and engineering project initiatives.
• Track project milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies for accurate controls and reporting.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Plant Planning, Production, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate technical information into actionable plans.
