Job summary

SpangleAI is seeking an exceptional AI Product Manager to lead from discovery to production, researching AI capabilities, running merchant pilots, and iterating quickly with engineering in an AI-native workflow.

You will own features from hypothesis to GA launch, collaborating with founders, engineers, and designers while working in an agentic, data-driven environment. Location flexibility includes Seattle, Bay Area, or Austin.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in product management or equivalent experience building and shipping products in engineering, data, analytics, or founder roles.
• Track record of taking hypothesis → prototype → launch with data-driven decisions.
• MBA preferred; background in e-commerce, adtech, martech, or retail technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Zero-to-One System Building: identify opportunities at AI and commerce intersection and take them from open question to working product; define system architecture at the product level.
• Detailed Product Design: produce artifacts for engineering with specs, edge-cases, data schemas, evaluation criteria, and UX flows.
• Hands-On Prototyping & AI-Native Workflow: build prototypes using AI coding agents and modern tooling to validate feasibility.
• Experimentation & Measurement: own end-to-end experiment design, pilot structure, and multi-source measurement including SQL/notebooks.
• Merchant Pilots: design and operate live pilots with enterprise brands and monitor performance daily.
• Ship with Engineering: collaborate with engineering to deploy prototypes into production with a merchant-centric viewpoint.
