Aegis AI is seeking an AI Product Manager to drive the roadmap for our threat detection engine—the core layer that identifies and explains modern email attacks.

You will collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and security researchers to shape how a multi‑agent system learns from adversaries, detects zero‑day threats, and improves through real‑world feedback. Impactful work on detecting sophisticated attacks will be your focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Strong understanding of ML and AI fundamentals: model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Proven ability to balance model performance with precision and explainability requirements.
• Skilled at translating complex technical problems into clear, measurable product goals.
• Experienced working cross‑functionally with research, data, and engineering teams.
• Exceptional communication skills — you can discuss embeddings and evaluation metrics as comfortably as customer pain points.
• Strong ability to balance working with Customers directly + Engineering + GTM teams.

Our Product Managers are expected to behave like GMs and true owners of their space perfectly preparing you to run your own business/P&L. You will be learning from Product Leads with >20 years of combined experience in Product Management.
• (Bonus) Experience in cybersecurity, email security, or fraud detection systems.
• (Bonus) Familiarity with transformer models, fine‑tuning, or agentic architectures.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Threat Environment by investigating real‑world attacks and collaborating with engineering, security analysts and customers.
• Design and Prioritize the Detection Roadmap with AI agents and model improvements, translating threat insights into requirements.
• Communicate Detection to Customers alongside GTM teams, and publish threat intelligence.
• Work with Engineering to implement and deploy improvements safely at scale, defining requirements for feedback loops and evaluation pipelines.
