AegisAI, a team of ex-Google engineers, is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead investigations into real-world email threats and publish high-quality analysis. You will shape product roadmap and industry thought leadership with your research.

This high-impact, customer- and industry-facing role requires 7+ years in cybersecurity, including 3–4 years in threat intelligence and investigations, and collaboration with engineering to improve AI-based detection and response

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3–4 years in threat intelligence and investigations.
• Hands-on email security investigations including phishing, BEC, and spam campaigns.
• Proficient in malware analysis tools and methodologies (sandboxing, static/dynamic analysis, RE basics).
• Proven track record of published threat research (blogs, papers, advisories, or conferences).

Responsibilities

• Investigate phishing, BEC, and malware campaigns to uncover attacker infrastructure, TTPs, and trends.
• Feed intelligence into AI detection models and automation workflows with engineering and data science teams.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis of malicious files, links, and payloads using sandbox and forensic tools.
• Provide actionable threat insights to customers and support investigations with executive-ready reporting.
• Publish blogs, advisories, and industry-facing research to highlight emerging threats.
• Represent AegisAI at conferences, webinars, and industry events to share insights.
• Document attack patterns, build runbooks, and share learnings with internal teams and the wider security community.
