Job summary

Harnham in San Francisco is seeking a Product Manager to own AI transformation initiatives from concept through deployment, working directly with business leaders, data scientists, and engineering partners to redesign workflows from the ground up.

You will define requirements, write detailed specs, and drive adoption of AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable business value across operations, customer experience, and risk.

Qualifications

This is a rare opportunity for a product manager to own AI transformation initiatives from concept through deployment, working directly with business leaders, data scientists, and engineering partners to redesign workflows from the ground up.

Location: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite)

Compensation: Up to 220k base + Bonus (Relocation if needed)

What You'll Do

• Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Map current workflows, uncover process gaps, and identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation
• Design and document future-state AI solutions and product requirements
• Author detailed product specifications and design briefs for engineering teams
• Manage external development partners throughout the product lifecycle
• Define quality control frameworks, evaluation criteria, and success metrics
• Partner with data science teams to validate AI outputs and performance
• Drive adoption, change management, and successful production rollout
• Measure business impact and continuously improve deployed solutions

Required Experience

• 3-5+ years of Product Management, Product Analysis, or related experience
• Experience working on AI-enabled, machine learning, or Generative AI products
• Proven ability to take products or capabilities from concept to production
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills
• Experience translating business problems into clear product specifications
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
