3Search is seeking an Operating Partner to translate AI opportunities into products, adoption and revenue across a portfolio of software businesses. You’ll work directly with portfolio CEOs, product leaders and engineering teams from discovery through to launch and commercial results.
You’ll identify customer problems where AI can create valuable new products, decide what to build, test the opportunity, and drive adoption while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
You’ve built AI products. You’ve seen what it takes to get them into customers’ hands. Now, how would you apply that experience across a portfolio of software businesses?
I’m partnering with a software-focused private equity firm to hire an Operating Partner who will turn AI opportunities into products, adoption and revenue.
The businesses already have customers, established workflows and deep knowledge of their markets. Your job is to work out where AI can make the biggest difference, then help make it happen.
You’ll work directly with portfolio CEOs, product leaders and engineering teams, taking opportunities from customer discovery through to launch and commercial results.
That means:
You’ll need to move comfortably between a conversation with a CEO about growth and a working session with engineers about how a product should behave.
You might be an AI founder considering your next move, a product leader building agentic products, or someone who has taken applied AI from early experimentation into meaningful customer use.
What matters is evidence that you can:
Founder experience, an exit or experience working across multiple businesses would be particularly relevant.
You’ll have the scope to build across several software businesses, influence decisions directly with their leadership teams and participate in the value you help create through equity.
For someone who enjoys building, solving unfamiliar problems and seeing their work translate into business growth, there’s a lot to get stuck into.
