Job summary

Nominal is hiring an AI Product Engineer to prototype features quickly with AI coding agents and ship polished products used by engineers and their teams. You will own end-to-end interfaces, APIs, and agent workflows, ensuring trust and clear handoffs to engineers.

Qualifications

4+ years shipping full-stack product with strong front-end skills (TypeScript and React).
Prototyping habit—prefer working demos over descriptions.
Experience or strong interest in AI-powered interfaces: streaming responses and generative UI.
Obsessed with the user experience and product quality.

Responsibilities

Prototype new features quickly, often with AI coding agents, and test with real users.
Build end-to-end interfaces and APIs; ensure agent work streams stay editable.
Make agent work trustworthy with visible steps, citations, and clean handoffs to engineers.
Own product decisions from idea to customer adoption.
