Job summary

Ford, a leading global automotive innovator, is seeking a highly technical designer to shape AI-driven insight and analytics products. You will partner with product managers, data scientists, AI engineers, and fellow designers to craft end-to-end experiences for data-rich environments, blending UX, service design, and technical AI skills.

Based in Dearborn, MI, this hybrid role requires substantial onsite presence each week and relocation support may be available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of UX research, interaction design, service design, or product design for complex data-heavy enterprise/B2B apps.
• Strong visual/UI design, data visualization, and interaction design skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex product requirements into intuitive experiences for analytics/AI products.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, AI engineers, and other designers.
• Create journey maps, service blueprints, personas, and data-driven workflows.
• Prototype AI-enabled workflows using Python, MCPs, and modern AI frameworks.
• Design dashboards and data visualizations for AI insights.
• Produce product demo videos and multimedia content to communicate design intent.
• Collaborate across agile teams to align stakeholders and ensure scalable service solutions.
