Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an experienced UX Designer to translate complex data workflows into intuitive AI-enabled product experiences. You will lead user research, craft journey maps, and create high-fidelity prototypes for data-rich environments, collaborating with product, engineering, and data science teams.

The role emphasizes design strategy, storytelling, and visual dashboards to help leaders act on insights in a scalable way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in UX research, interaction design, service design, or product design for complex data-heavy enterprise apps.
• 5+ years translating complex systems, workflows, and data into clear user experiences including data visualization.
• 3+ years mapping end-to-end journeys and creating service blueprints.
• 3+ years coordinating across multi-team ecosystems with stakeholders.
• 6+ months AI-native design experience including agent-enabled workflows and familiarity with Python and AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex product requirements into intuitive experiences for analytics and AI-driven products.
• Conduct user research to identify friction points in data workflows and translate needs into AI features.
• Create journey maps, service blueprints, personas, and prototypes that connect touchpoints, people, and data sources.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product management to implement design intent.
