Job summary

Paradise Media Recruitment seeks an AI-Native Web Designer with a strong eye for design to collaborate with SEOs and developers. You will turn rough briefs into polished websites that feel credible, distinctive and not over‑generated by AI.

You'll prototype in Figma and AI tools, ensuring brand identity across multiple sites while refining output and applying solid design judgment to deliver clear, trustworthy pages for desktop and mobile.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showing excellent visual judgement across real websites.
• 1–2 years of experience on affiliate, media, publishing or content-led sites.
• Hands‑on experience with Higgsfield and demonstrable examples.
• Practical experience with AI design tools; understand limits of AI output.
• Strong fundamentals in typography, colour, spacing, hierarchy and responsive design.
• Ability to turn an unclear brief into a considered design direction.
• Understanding affiliate pages: comparison, trust, CTAs and commercial intent.
• Comfort designing for desktop and mobile.
• Figma knowledge to produce clean, implementation-ready work.
• Care with small details and willingness to verify implementation.
• Based in Malta, or willing to relocate, and able to work from Saint Julian's office on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Improve the visual quality of affiliate, editorial and content-led websites.
• Turn rough briefs into strong desktop and mobile design directions.
• Design landing pages, commercial pages, comparison modules, navigation, trust elements and other components.
• Create brand directions, hero visuals, featured images, illustrations and icons using AI tools.
• Use AI to explore directions quickly, then apply judgement to refine results.
• Prototype ideas in Figma, Claude Design or similar tools when helpful.
• Work with SEOs to keep pages clear, trustworthy and useful while preserving purpose.
• Collaborate with developers through implementation and review staging.
• Review live pages for spacing, typography, responsiveness, and consistency.
• Build reusable prompts, references and workflows for multi-site consistency.
