Job summary

Madiff is seeking an AI-Powered Systems Analyst to support a modernisation programme for a financial services platform. The role combines traditional systems analysis with AI-augmented workflows to improve requirements, design, and delivery across APIs, integrations, and data flows.

You will lead requirements elicitation, interface with stakeholders, and model processes using BPMN/UML, while applying AI tools to accelerate analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years experience as a Systems/Business Analyst on complex software platforms.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and integration patterns.
• Solid SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Practical use of BPMN/UML and tools like Enterprise Architect.
• Experience with AI-assisted analysis in design workflows.
• Experience in regulated, data-sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements analysis, elicitation, refinement, and validation.
• Interface between business, product, architects, and engineering teams.
• Design application-level architecture focusing on APIs and integrations.
• Define API contracts, requests/responses, and error handling.
• Model business processes and integration scenarios using BPMN/UML.
• Translate needs into system specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog management and impact analysis across components.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate analysis and improve documentation.
• Ensure traceability from objectives to delivered functionality.
