Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Bellevue, WA is seeking a software engineer to help build AI-powered, scalable transport and logistics systems. You will design end-to-end solutions for high-throughput infrastructure and work with cross-functional teams across supply chain and operations.

The role requires strong data structures, algorithms, and system design foundations, plus hands-on experience with large-scale distributed software in languages like C++, Java, or C#.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Leading end to end design of core infrastructural improvements.
• Leading discussions with business teams, supply chain managers and other experts in the field of supply chain and logistics to model ground realities into software.
• Building scalable mechanisms to deal with operational load, continous improvement systems to monitor and reduce defects, and mechanisms to manage complex operations while running lean systems.
